(Sports Network) - Clayton Kershaw tries to follow up his spectacular Opening Day performance when the Los Angeles Dodgers begin a brief two-game set with the Colorado Rockies this evening at Coors Field. Patrick Willis Womens Jersey . Kershaw opened the year for the Dodgers against the defending world champion San Francisco Giants on Thursday and scattered four hits over seven scoreless innings to nail down the win. He also struck out nine and walked a batter. Every time he goes out there, you expect to win, Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said after that start. He keeps getting better, keeps working ... Hes going to be tough. Kershaw, who was 13-10 last season, is 5-3 lifetime against the Rockies with a 3.63 ERA in 13 starts. The dominant outing by Kershaw set the tone for the Dodgers, as they took three of four from the Giants over the weekend and wrapped up the set with a 7-5 win on Sunday. Marcus Thames, Aaron Miles, Rafael Furcal and Andre Ethier all had an RBI in a four-run seventh inning that gave the Dodgers the lead for good in that one. As good as the Dodgers have looked to start the year, closer Jonathan Broxton could be a cause for concern. Although he saved all three wins, Broxton has surrendered three runs and two home runs in three innings. Colorado, meanwhile, had its finale with the Arizona Diamondbacks postponed on Sunday because of a rain/snow mixture in the Denver area. The Rockies had split their first two games and recorded a 3-1 win on Saturday. Starter Jorge De La Rosa was sensational for the Rockies in that one, as he struck out five and scattered three hits before leaving with one out in the sixth inning because of a blister on his index finger. He also had an RBI single in the game, while Dexter Fowler collected an RBI double for Colorado. Huston Street recorded his first save of the season, stranding the possible tying run in the top of the ninth. Tonight the Rockies will give the ball to Jhoulys Chacin as the 23-year-old righty starts his second full season in the majors. He went 9-11 with a 3.28 ERA in 28 games (21 starts) in 2010. Chacin allowed two earned runs or less in each of his final eight starts and has a 3-3 mark with a 2.84 ERA in seven games (six starts) against Los Angeles. The Dodgers were 11-7 against the Rockies last season. Rob Gronkowski Womens Jersey . They tell him how theyd love to be in his size range of 6-foot-5, 215 pounds. Falk has a standard retort. He reminds them how lucky they are to be able to skate like the wind and work the puck as though its on a string. BenJarvus Green-Ellis Super Bowl Jersey . Rick Nash responded a big way. Nash scored two third-period goals in his return from an injury that sidelined him four games, and the Blue Jackets overcame a two-goal deficit Friday night to hand the Minnesota Wild a costly 4-2 loss. Frank Gore Jersey . Back in August, when he first called all the candidates to Chicago that would battle for the final 23 roster spots, he started harping on the issue of patriotism. One of the key facets of that program was involving the military. In fact, members of the military -- mostly Navy SEALs and Army Rangers -- were brought to Chicago to share stories about their service to the country and what it means to them. Terrell Suggs Super Bowl Jersey .C. - Tomas Kaberle scored the go-ahead goal on a power play late in the third period to help the Toronto Maple Leafs shake off a blown four-goal lead and beat the Carolina Hurricanes 6-4 on Thursday night. Authentic Hakeem Nicks Jersey . The deal follows Chicago moves that sent playoff star Dustin Byfuglien, Brent Sopel and Ben Eager to Atlanta and Colin Fraser to Edmonton. The Maple Leafs gave up forwards Viktor Stalberg, Chris DiDomenico and Philippe Paradis.OTTAWA - With talk of a goalie controversy after just two games for the Ottawa Senators, things didnt get any easier for Martin Gerber on Saturday night in Game 3 of the season. Johan Franzen scored twice in the third period, including the winner with just 1:17 to play, as the Detroit Red Wings fought back from two one-goal deficits to defeat the Ottawa Senators 3-2 Saturday night. With the Senators up 2-1, Franzen beat Gerber over the shoulder at 11:01 to tie the game. Then, with little time left in the game, Franzen took a shot from along the boards that Gerber got a piece of but not enough as the puck just trickled over the goal line in back of him. "The first one I was dead tired so I only made it to the circle but I saved enough energy to get a good shot away," Franzen said. "The second one was a lucky one. It got deflected. I was shooting for the first post but it got deflected to the other post. That was a tough play for him." Valtteri Filppula also scored for the Red Wings (1-1-0), who lost their season opener Thursday to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Senators (1-1-1), who started the season with a win and an overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins in Sweden last weekend, got goals from Alexandre Picard and Nick Foligno. Gerber was certainly the busier of the two goaltenders as the Red Wings outshot the Senators 41-22. Gerber was forced to make 16 first-period saves alone while Chris Osgood made just five saves in the opening period. "We came out flat in the first period but I think we were able to play more of our game over the next two periods," Gerber said, adding he didnt have much of an opportunity on the winning goal. "It looked like an easy shot but it bounced twice and the second bounce popped oover my stick. Frank Gore Authentic Jersey. Its over now though and theres nothing you can do about it." The Senators came on harder in the second period, forcing Osgood to be sharp in order to keep his team in the game. They had just four shots in the third. Foligno scored the nicest goal of the game to give the Senators a 2-1 at 18:01 of the second period. He split through Filppula and Niklas Kronwall before firing a low shot past Osgood. "I tried to make a move and luckily it squirted through and I was able to get my stick free," said Foligno, who is in his second NHL season. "Its one of those things where I was happy to help the team, its just unfortunate that we got the loss. We learned a lot of things and well come back with a better effort Friday." The teams had entered the second period tied 1-1. Picard scored his first goal in a Senators uniform when his shot from the top of the faceoff circle got past Osgood at 6:22 while the Senators were skating five-on-three. "I think we started the first period the way we wanted and we outshot them," Red Wings forward Marian Hossa said. "The second period was a little bit slower but in the third we found a way to score a couple of goals and win the game." The Senators are off until Friday when they host the Phoenix Coyotes. The Red Wings will be in Carolina Monday to face the Hurricanes. Notes: The Detroit Red Wings are the only NHL club that Dany Heatley has never scored against . In 22 lifetime meetings the Red Wings have never shut out the Senators while the Senators have shut out the Red Wings once . Red Wings defenceman Brett Lebda played his 200th career NHL game Saturday . The Red Wings havent lost back-to-back games to open a season since 1989-90 ' ' '
