Parliament members and scientists discussed about to build copper smelting industry

Both Parliament members and scientist accepted to build copper smelting industry; by the way it may be a base of chemical industry and a big step to develop transport and infrastructure.
According to the 108th order of Parliament speaker on 13, November, 2009, the workgroup “to formulate documents about building copper concentrating and smelting industry” was organized, leading by D.Damba-Ochir, Member of Parliament. This workgroup will introduce its work documents in the 4th season of this year and having those members of Parliament, Kh.Badamsuren, Ch.Ulaan, Z.Enkhbold, Ts.Tsengel, Ts.Bayarsaikhan, G.Bayarsaikhan, Ts.Dashdorj, D.Zorigt, Kh.Narankhuu and D.Odkhuu. That workgroup organized the open interview, discussing about those issue with scientist, in B hall of government house at 14:00 on 24th of November, 2009, represented the positions of directors of Ministry of Mineral Resource and Energy, specialists, engineer metallurgists, directors of Erdenet, Mongolrostsewetmet, MAK and others.
They emphasized the biggest three copper sources, Oyu-tolgoi, Erdenet and Tsagaan suvraga. They accepted to build the industry, using new technical equipment, secreting less harm and working full time.
However, specialists proposed to use phosphorus deposits of Burenkhaan, Huvsgul, the parliament members said, “it is harmful to nature”. The best place to build copper smelting industry works in Erdenet, both of them accepted.
